Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Expenses Tracker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Not share your account with others (except through Family Sharing)

We recommend enabling biometric authentication for additional security. You are solely responsible for any actions taken through your account.

Service Description

Expenses Tracker is a personal finance management application that allows you to:

• Track income and expenses across multiple accounts
• Categorize transactions and set budgets
• Generate reports and export data
• Sync data across devices (Pro feature)
• Receive AI-powered insights and recommendations (Pro feature)
• Share finances with family members (Pro feature)

The App is designed for personal use only. Commercial use requires a separate license agreement.

Subscription & Billing

Free Plan

The Free plan includes basic features at no cost. It is available indefinitely with no hidden fees or upgrade requirements.

Pro Subscription

The Pro subscription unlocks premium features. Subscriptions are billed:

• Monthly: $4.99/month (regional pricing available)
• Yearly: $49.99/year (save 20%)

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect current billing periods.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated systems to access the App without permission
• Transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Violate the privacy or rights of other users

Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of the App—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software—are owned by Expenses Tracker and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

No Financial Advice

Always consult a qualified financial professional before making financial decisions. We are not responsible for any financial losses resulting from your use of the App.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Expenses Tracker and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions or errors
• Actions of third-party services or integrations

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce. The arbitration shall take place in Bangalore, India, and the proceedings shall be conducted in English.

You agree to waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

Privacy & Data

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

Key points:

• Your financial data is encrypted and never sold
• SMS permissions are used only for transaction detection
• You can export or delete your data at any time

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Extended inactivity (after 2 years)
• At your request

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Data may be retained for up to 30 days before deletion, unless longer retention is required by law.
