Refund Overview

We want you to be completely satisfied with Expenses Tracker Pro. If you're not happy with your purchase, we offer a straightforward refund policy. Here's everything you need to know.

Our Promise: 14-day full refund, no questions asked. If Pro isn't right for you, we'll refund your money—simple as that.

Refund Eligibility

Eligible for Full Refund

  • Within 14 days: Full refund for any reason during the first 14 days of your subscription
  • Technical issues: If the app doesn't work on your device due to bugs we can't fix
  • Accidental purchase: Refund within 48 hours for unintended purchases
  • Annual plan guarantee: 30-day money-back guarantee for yearly subscriptions

Not Eligible for Refund

  • Subscriptions active for more than 14 days (30 days for annual plans)
  • Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations
  • Evidence of subscription abuse or fraud
  • Requests made after using significant Pro features

How to Request a Refund

Option 1: Through App Store / Google Play (Recommended)

The fastest way to get a refund is through your device's app store:

For iOS (App Store)

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone/iPad
  2. Tap your name at the top → Subscriptions
  3. Select Expenses Tracker Pro
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription
  5. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund

For Android (Google Play)

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions
  3. Tap Subscriptions → Expenses Tracker Pro
  4. Tap Cancel subscription
  5. For refund: Go to play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory

Option 2: Contact Us Directly

If you have trouble with the app store refund process, email us:

  • Email: support@expensestracker.app
  • Subject: Refund Request - [Your Email]
  • Include: Purchase date, reason for refund, order ID (if available)

We typically respond within 24-48 hours on business days.

Processing Time

Platform Processing Time
App Store (Apple) 3-5 business days
Google Play 1-3 business days
Direct (via email) 5-7 business days

Refunds are credited to your original payment method. Bank processing may add 1-3 additional days.

Cancellation Instructions

Canceling your subscription stops future charges but lets you use Pro until the end of your current billing period.

Important: Deleting the app does NOT cancel your subscription. You must cancel through your device settings to stop future charges.

Cancel on iPhone/iPad

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap your Apple ID (your name at the top)
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Select Expenses Tracker Pro
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Cancel on Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store
  2. Tap your profile icon
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
  4. Select Expenses Tracker Pro
  5. Tap Cancel subscription

Data After Cancellation/Refund

When your Pro subscription ends (whether canceled or refunded):

  • Your data is safe: All expense records remain on your device
  • Cloud sync stops: Data won't sync across devices anymore
  • Pro features locked: AI insights, SMS tracking, etc. become unavailable
  • Data retention: Cloud data is retained for 30 days in case you resubscribe
  • Export available: You can always export your data (limited exports on Free plan)

Exceptions & Special Cases

Promotional Offers

Free trials and promotional subscriptions may have different refund terms. These will be clearly stated at the time of the offer.

Family Sharing

Only the primary account holder who made the purchase can request a refund. Family members cannot directly request refunds.

Multiple Refunds

We reserve the right to deny refund requests from users who have previously received multiple refunds, as this may indicate abuse.
